Hello hello hello!

School has officially started which means that summer has officially ended. However I like being a senior, I have a really good feeling about this year. But before we get into that I wanted to share some pictures I found from summer when I was in Philly. We went down to Maryland for an amazing dinner one night by the bay. How I miss my beloved city and my best friend. Memories to last a lifetime.

One a completely unrelated note, you may or may not have noticed a new addition to the side bar. :) LBM is now a part of the Tobi Blog Community! Awesome right?

As Seen From Space

Whenever I wear this top I feel like someone really could see me from space. The color is just so bright which is exactly what attracted me to it in the store (although I'm not really sure how I could have missed it). Neon yellow is defiantly a favorite of mine this summer. I've got quite a bit going on now that I'm making one last trip before my summer ends. This will definatly be something that I pack. Simple, cute and it doesn't take up a lot of room in a suitcase! I just can't believe that two weeks from now I'll be back in school and for my senior year nonetheless!

June/July

It occurred to me last night that I never posted a July outfit. Then I looked back at my archives and realized I never even posted a June outfit! I blame summer. To make up for it I combined them and even added a third look just for fun. I'd like to think that the progression from pants to shorts and the shrinking amount of fabric in each outfit is symbolic of the fact that it just keeps getting hotter here in Cali. How do you keep cool and stay stylish in this summer heat?

Straight Off the Runway

I spotted this collection not to long ago & immediately fell in love. Not only are all of the pieces are wearable but I'm obsessing over the color pallet.  (Don't even get me started on those wonderfully flowy dresses.) Now if only those clothes would walk straight off the runway & into my closet...

That Summer Sunshine

Hello Again!

I'm back from my adventures on the East Coast and after about a week of recovery I'm ready to get this blog back up and running. I must say I have been pretty lazy this summer. It seems like I spend most of my days in either a swimsuit or some boring tank top/shorts combo and sadly neither option is very fashionable. Plus, it has been unbearably hot; sometimes I feel like I live in the desert!

Anyway, I thought I'd get things going with a bit of inspiration full of Summer Sand & Sun.

Maybe this will finally motivate me to actually think while I dress again...

On My Way Home

As we speak I'm on my way back home to Philadelphia!! Trust me when I say I couldn't be more excited! I'll be spending the next couple of weeks with my very best friend. There is no word to describe my happiness. I'll have to make up a new one... Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I am still alive. I know I've been a bit absent from the blog lately (& things will probably be a bit hectic during the next few weeks) but I'm enjoying every minute of my summer vacation! Eventually I'll get everything posted :) Thanks for sticking with me. You are all super amazing. See you in Philly!!!

The Happiest Place on Earth

Something that I've always found a bit difficult is looking stylish at places like amusement parks. It can be difficult to find the perfect balance between comfort and style, especially during summer. However it finally seems like I have found my balance. A lightweight lacy top, my favorite denim shorts and a shiny pair of gold gladiator sandals. Top it off with a small carryall satchel and the perfect sunnies and you're good to go (or at least I am!) I've also found that crimping my hair makes it look a little less crazy after going on a few roller coasters, which just so happen to be my favorite :)

Take Me to Paris.

This has got to be one of my favorite outfits to date and it was so much fun to shoot. I love the structure of the blazer and the softness of the skirt. Everything just seems to work. That and I feel very Parisian which always puts me in a good mood. Summer vacation has officially begun for me and seeing as how I just heard the fireworks go off at my high school's graduation down the street, I suppose I am officially a Senior. That's a bit scary. College apps, tests and acceptance letters are all things I can see in my near future and lets just say... I'm freaking out. But for now I'm just ready to enjoy summer. My absolute favorite time of the year! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!
