Do You Know if the Hotel is Pager Friendly?

A text message conversation with my brother

Nom nom nom! The best little treat at the Bellagio. I saw it on the first day & went back for it the next day. I couldn't resist!!

I had the best Mexican at the Isla in Treasure Island. The burritos were melt-in-your-mouth-beyond-delicious. I still dream about them

My favorite store in the whole wide world has to be the Beatles gift shop in the Mirage

My beloved (mini) Eiffel Tower. I belong in Paris (the real one not the hotel).

I got to go to the top! It's exactly half the size of the real one & I felt like I was super high up. I guess they were going to make it full size but couldn't because of the airport. Hmph.

The view from the top was amazing. The lights were insane and you could see everything. We even got to watch the Bellagio fountain show which looks even cooler from above. You'd be surpirsed how many hotels put pools on the roofs... just a thought

Sadly, I had no quarters so this is me looking at nothing.

I've been to Vegas how many times & this is the very first time I got to see the Fabulous Las Vegas sign.

What's a post about Vegas with out a Hangover quote? These are just a few of the hundreds of photos I took on out second day in Las Vegas. It was by far the busiest day (& night). I may not be able to do any of the really fun stuff but that will forever be one of my favorite days. So many fond memories. The highlight of my entire trip was being at the tippy top of the Eiffel tower at midnight with my Mom. Definitely the best. :)

May

Hello loves!

It's been a while...almost a month. Good news is my AP tests are officially over and I'm almost 100% certain I passed them both; which is good seeing as how I spent every spare minute studying (and not blogging). Just ask my mom, I think I was actually starting to annoy her towards the end there. I figured I'd kick things off with May's creation. A good way to get back into the groove. I must say, I still love all the color we’re seeing this spring. I really liked this outfit for two reasons. 1. It's simple & cool (by cool I mean it already feels like summer here! SoCal tends to mush spring into one week and then jump ahead to summer.) 2. The über bright colors and Mickey Mouse ears give it a playful feeling that contrasts with the structure of the belt/watch/flats. It must be that English student in me that has this strange compulsive need to over-analyze and give metaphorical meanings to everything; even when the situation does not require it. Kind of like now. Hopefully that will come in handy in college.
Anyway, thanks for sticking with me through this little hiatus. The good news is now my mind is clear & stress free, school is almost over, and I’m back to blogging! :D

Inspiration: Denim Cutoffs

As the weather heats up (which it seems to be doing on a daily basis) I find myself falling in love all over again with my favorite pair of these simple treasures.Where would I be without them? I have a strong feeling they will get a lot of use within the next month seeing as how lately I have been drawn to very simple, easy outfits. As my AP tests and finals grow nearer I find my self reading textbooks more than magazines, flipping through flashcards rather than shopping racks and using every ounce of free time to break out the highlighters and my review guides (which now go everywhere with me). I've fully dedicated myself to the cause. AP Lang. AP US History. I will destroy you come May. (That way I'll actually have time to blog!)

Viva Las Vegas

Driving 4 long hours.
Chicken noodle soup for lunch at Stateline.
Pretty spring tulips at the Bellagio.
Sigh, the [mini] Eiffel Tower.
Details of my new favorite place, the Cosmopolitan. Even the lights are super flyyy.
I can't get enough of this hotel.
Yours Truly :)

Me at the end of the day...I was super tired.

Day uno of my fabulous trip to fabulous Las Vegas... in photos! I feel like these pictures are a good summary of my day (pretty much in order at that) and the smallest amount of text possible would suffice.   (A week late but like I always say better late than never at all!)

17

17. Today is my seventeenth birthday. After 4 days in Las Vegas (which I will go into later) I'm having a rather lazy celebration. Plus no one really cares about 17. I personally think its an ugly number but that's beside the point. I did however want to share with you my absolute favorite gift ever! After hunting for the store in Las Vegas I had given up all hope when someone told us it left just a week early, only to go one hotel over to find that it had moved into a shiny new home. After trying it on, there was no way I could leave the city without it. :) Well, I'm off to do birthday things & I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!
